The Inspiration of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s powerful vision and words from his collections of writing were an enormous inspiration to the Director of KASHESH, Kashesh Bhatia Garg, during the creation of the capsule collection ABR which is a collection of luxury limited edition collectibles.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has created a vision for Dubai that combines innovation and progress with a deep respect for the city's heritage and traditions and through his leadership, Dubai has become a beacon of progress and modernity around the world, while also honouring its rich cultural history and natural beauty.
This inspired Kashesh enormously, so much so that she decided to name her first capsule collection after the beautiful arabic word ABR, which translates to ‘cloud’, and 'weaving one sky' for kashesh as a beautiful homage to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision. The capsule collection ABR by KASHESH is about citizens of the world, those who love stories from far away lands, stories of bringing people and all cultures under one sky.
Each garment will tell a story , thus making the wearer - a Vasl. The collection is crafted with hues from the mysterious Bedouin tribe and lifestyle of a bygone era.
We intend and hope to create a lyrical echo of stories, of experiences through His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s poetry and writing. ABR by KASHESH is about weaving one sky, a perfect mist for people - through stories, through poetry, through you and through me.
ABR is a sustainably produced collection made with a hope to join hands and co–exist as one, as one with the planet Earth.
